Ben Gates, a codebreaker, is charged with uncovering a well-known treasure war chest hidden during the American Revolutionary War by none other than the United States Founding Fathers. In the upcoming sequel, there will be adventure, action, and suspense. The second segment dealt with the missing pages of John Wilkes Booth’s journal. The first part of the film focuses on the discovery of a treasure map on the back of the Declaration of Independence. When it comes to the third film’s plot, suggestions have ranged from brilliant to bizarre, which is unsurprising given that it is a project starring the one and only Nicolas Cage. Over the past 14 years, various theories have floated about the plot of the third National Treasure film, and it’s no secret that many different scripts for the highly anticipated picture have been prepared. Not only Cage, but the entire cast will appear in National Treasure Season 3, since it’s easy to ignore the incredible talent that surrounded Cage in the previous two films, such as Harvey Keitel and Diane Kruger.

You’re also in luck if you’re a fan of the original films because it’s a remake of one of them. This film is well worth your time, in my opinion. Nicolas Gage does a fantastic job as the lead, and it’s nice to see him in a non-psychotic character. Mira Nair is directing and executive producing.The writing is well-done and innovative as they investigate several clues. Jon Turteltaub is also an executive producer. Jerry Bruckheimer, Cormac & Marianne Wibberley, Jonathan Littman, and Kristie Anne Reed executive produce the series alongside Rick Muirragui, who also serves as a writer.
Lyndon Smith (“Parenthood”) stars as FBI Agent Ross who assists in the quest. The series also stars Catherine Zeta-Jones who will portray Billie, a badass billionaire, black-market antiquities expert, and treasure hunter who lives by her own code, Zuri Reed (“Flatbush Misdemeanors”) as Tasha, Jordan Rodrigues as Ethan (“Lady Bird”), Antonio Cipriano as Oren (“Jagged Little Pill” on Broadway”), and Jake Austin Walker (“Rectify”) as Liam – Jess’ friends whom she recruits to help uncover the truth about her parents and their connection to the treasure. The live-action series is an expansion of the “National Treasure” movie franchise centered on a young heroine, Jess (Lisette Alexis), a brilliant and resourceful DREAMer who embarks on the adventure of a lifetime to uncover the truth about her family’s mysterious past and save a lost Pan-American treasure.
